Comet Ridge

(EPC 1230, MLA 700005, 100%)
Comet Ridge is an advanced, shallow open pit project with a 57Mt JORC Resource shallower than 50 meters. The Project has received Environmental approval in August 2016 and has an advanced Mine License Application to extract coal from the Triumph and Fairhill seams in the Fairhill measures. Comet Ridge is well positioned in terms of infrastructure and potential synergies with other projects.

(MDL - 453, 100%)
Cooroorah is located directly down dip of Wesfarmers’ Curragh mine and MDL162 and is targeting the Aries, Castor, Pollux and Pisces seams from the Rangal coal measures as mined by Curragh and the abutting Jellinbah mine. The Project has a 125Mt JORC resource which can be mined as an unwashed PCI product, or washed as a coking coal with secondary PCI or low ash thermal coal.

Joint Venture

(BCC 15%, Stanmore Coal 85%)
The Project hosts a 33Mt JORC Resource in the sought after German Creek seam which is mined at the neighboring Kestrel Mine (Rio Tinto) and proximate Gregory Crinum Mine (BHP/Mitsubishi Alliance). Previous exploration confirmed the potential to produce a high yielding coking coal and further upside potential to increase the size of the Resource.

Joint Venture

(BCC 5%, Stanmore Coal 95%)
The Project is abutting Ensham mine and is targeting shallow coking coal from the Burngrove Measures. Previous exploration results will be converted into a 2012 JORC compliant Resource, with further upside identified from the occurrence of shallow coal in the Fairhill Measures found in the East of the tenement.

(EPC 1824, 100%)
Hillalong is located proximate to Rio Tinto’s Hail Creek Mine and Elphinstone Project in the Northern Bowen basin. The Project hosts the Hynds seam in the Rangal Coal Measures which has demonstrated the ability to yield a high quality coking coal in the region.
